Dog Obedience Classes - "Crazy Daisy Dog Training"
Jen Sterka and Daisy
Jen's passion for well mannered pups continues to serve our clients and their canine companions. She is the owner and trainer of Crazy Daisy Dog Training which provides Puppy Pre-school and Basic Obedience Dog Training here at our facility.
Jen uses training techniques based on positive reinforcement to bring owners and dogs together through respect and understanding.
Jen's experience includes animal hospitals, pet stores and shelters. She is an Animal
Behavior College graduate and ABC certified dog trainer. She specializes in obedience and behavior modification.
She is an AKC registered Canine Good Citizen Examiner. In addition, Jen is also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross. Jen is also a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and strictly follows their code of ethics.
The following classes are offered:
Puppy Pre-school
Designed for puppies from 10wks to 5mos. Socialization and common puppy problems are emphasized. Puppies are exposed to supervised playtime and basic obedience is also touched on. The goal of this class is to provide the foundation for new parents and puppies to grow and learn.
Basic Obedience 101
Designed for puppies and dogs over the age of 5 mos. Basic commands are taught and practiced. Sit, down, sit-stay, down-stay, heel, recall, loose leash walking and leave-it are introduced.
Basic Obedience 102
This is an extension of Basic Obedience 101. The class is designed for puppies and dogs that have graduated from Basic Obedience 101 or have instructor approval. In this class she adds distraction and distance to the commands already mastered.
