 2.Veterinary Ultrasound and Echocardiography
A number of our veterinarians are skilled veterinary ultrasonographers,
and we have invested in the most advanced ultrasound technology
available on the market today. Ultrasound enables us to
study the internal structure of organs located in the abdomen
and the chest. Veterinary cardiology has been revolutionized
by ultrasound technology and we are now able to accurately
diagnose and treat heart problems. Ultrasound also enables
us to safely use non-invasive methods of obtaining samples
from internal organs. Critical diagnostic information is
thus obtained and many times the pet is hardly aware that
a procedure was even carried out. |
 3. Veterinary Endoscopy
Endoscopy is an advanced diagnostic procedure which uses a flexible camera to evaluate the lining of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. Information is obtained visually and by taking small samples from the inside of these organs. The samples are analyzed later in the laboratory to determine the exact diagnosis. Endscopy allows us to painlessly collect important diagnostic information that would usually only be available through painful exploratory surgery.
