Dr. Drayton Heh was born and raised in West Columbia, South Carolina. Growing up, she and her sister enjoyed frequent trips to SC beaches during summers and weekends. She received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University with a major in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She went on to receive her veterinary degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. 

Dr. Heh’s professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dental and oral surgery, and compassionate geriatric and hospice care. She hopes to learn more about oncology and internal medicine. 

Dr. Heh lives with her partner Johnny, their two cats Smirk and Birdie, and a pit mix named Ferguson. In her free time, she enjoys birding, indoor and outdoor gardening, beach combing, entomology, and mycology. She looks forward to building positive, meaningful relationships with pets and their families at NMAH!
