Dr. Shauna Gross

Dr. Shauna Gross grew up in Sioux City, Iowa as the middle sibling to five brothers (3 older, 2 younger). She received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s in Natural Resource Ecology and Management with a focus in Wildlife Biology and Pre-Veterinary Sciences. During college, she gained experience in the veterinary world as a technician at a small animal and exotics hospital. She interned at a wildlife rehabilitation center during undergrad as well. She went on to attend Iowa State University for veterinary school.

Her professional interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, endocrinology, and preventative medicine. She looks forward to learning more about minimally invasive surgery and ultrasound imaging.

Dr. Gross lives with her husband Nick and their English Setter mix Cecil. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors - whether that be playing frisbee with her husband, hiking with her dog, or reading a good book in the hammock.
