North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital
We have served the Lake Norman area for over 38 years and continue to provide the highest level of compassion, integrity, and expertise.
Prior to Your Initial Visit
When you call to make an appointment our Patient Care Coordinators will gather your contact information and pet information over the phone to get you quickly set up into our system. There is no paperwork to fill out. They will even contact your previous veterinarian to obtain your pet's history to include in your pet(s) file.
We value the time we spend with our clients and their pets and want to make sure that everyone is well taken care of when they come to visit us. Appointments on average are set for 30 minutes unless it is a new puppy or kitten visit which is scheduled for an hour.
On the Day of Your Visit
Please be sure to bring with you any additional medical records you wish for the doctor to review during your visit as well as a list of questions that you might have about your pet’s health.
For the safety of your pet and others, all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
If your pet is on medication please continue their normal medication schedule and then bring all the medications with you to the appointment.
When You Arrive
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our helpful Patient Care Coordinators who will escort you to an exam room and get you settled. You will then be greeted by a technician and doctor, who will conduct a thorough physical examination and obtain a complete history to evaluate your pet's condition. The doctor may also perform diagnostic tests to better gauge a treatment for your pet. Once they have gathered all the necessary information they will discuss with you treatment plans and pricing for your pet care now and in the future.
Overall what you should expect from us is our highest level of compassion, integrity and expertise.
